Submissions
Hey FC members!!
I found that opening up submissions every 5 or so days was repetitive and we weren't getting enough submissions quick enough. So I think what the plan will be until further notice will be to leave the queue open for a couple days (like it was just now) and let the submissions pile up until we hit 50 submissions or so. This way we can still accept 5 new deviations into the gallery (which has always been the case) and not worry about people not being able to submit in time.

Overview and Joining
We have a lot of information on our front page, and in this journal, and to try to make it easiest for you we have collected an overview for you here! That said, It is vital that you read this entire journal!
Feature-Club aims to feature just a few individuals every day. The reason we do this is so that people actually get noticed. In most clubs there are as many as 100-500 submissions a day. This means that basically 90%-95% of the pieces are unnoticed by almost 80% of members. We have aimed to change that!
Feature-Club features just 5 members a day, and members have been proven to get many more views, faves and feedback on all submissions here!
To join Feature-Club we ask that you apply to be a member. (Being a watcher gets you no benefits). To do this simply click "Join This Group" on the front page by clicking here
We have a submissions schedule that accepts submissions 3 days during every month. Please read our submissions rules below.

Feature-Club is a very simple idea I had. Every day we will feature a select number of our members works and hopefully promote the member and their work. Our goal is to give people who may not get as much support for their work, the support they want and deserve!
Everyone who makes good art should be recognized, and we want to do that here at Feature-Club!
How To Submit A Feature (And rules)

VOCAB FOR GALLERY
Some important Vocab for The Gallery System Rules
GALLERY - These are the submissions we accept and are seen by everyone.
FAVES - You do not get any notification when a member submits to the faves. However, we feature those submissions in a journal every week.
HOLDING AREA - Its an area located in our "Admin Area", and it shows all works you submit to us that are not yet reviewed. You cannot see this area, and you should NOT worry about it! Just be aware that it means your submission is waiting for approval!
GALLERY SYSTEM DETAILS
- We will only accept 150 deviations per month.
- We will only accept 5 GALLERY submissions per day.
- The submissions are only opened 6 times a month.
- The 3 days are the 1st, 6th, 11th, 16th, 21st, and 26th of every month.
- Once we receive 25 submissions in the day, the submissions will be closed. Therefore, in one month, we get a total of 150 submissions.
- If we got over the limit in a day, the submissions will be accepted for the following opening. However after 5 submissions over, we will deny any further submissions.
SUMMARY: The submissions will be opened only 6 days a month (1st, 6th, 11th, 16th, 21st, and 26th of every month). This means you have 6 chances to submit.
The submissions will remain opened until we get 25 submissions. This is because we only want to accept 150 submissions per month (5 submissions per day)
Note: You still only get to submit ONE work per MONTH

FAVES SYSTEM DETAILS
- You are allowed to submit 10 works per Day to the faves.
- Your submissions will be featured every SATURDAY or SUNDAY in a blog by lazdude!
- Submissions to the FAVES will be left open for up to 10 submissions PER DAY! PER MEMBER
- These will then be featured EVERY SATURDAY or SUNDAY in a blog so that members still get featured!
- There are 4 categories, Photography, Literature, Traditional, and Other. Please submit to one of these
- Submissions to Contests will not be effected.
How To Feature Someone Else
Simply click "Suggest a fave" and it will be accepted! Our Faves are open to submissions from anywhere on dA!
What artwork is accepted?
ALL Artwork is accepted, including emotes, wallpapers, traditional, stamps, computer design, flash, video and literature! So feel free to send anything!
We do however only accept ART, this means our gallery administrators may decline a submission if we feel it is not a piece of art (most likely for self portraits that are meant to be Deviant ID's)
It's been a while and my artwork hasn't been accepted...
No worries! We only accept five pieces a day, so if there are 50 pieces and you are the 51st it will be 10 days and then you will be featured. 
If there are much more, it could be longer. If you are ever worried, link us to your deviation and we can let you know!
Will there be a feature every day?
Yes. In fact, there will be five! If we miss days, which is highly unlikely, then we make them up the following day.
Mini Contests
Starting May 22, 2010 we have started a thread of mini contests from our members! Every journal we post will have information about one at the end. To not miss out on POINTS, SUBSCRIPTIONS AND MORE read every journal!
To apply for your contest being posted about submit a note to Feature-Club titled "Mini Contest"
We also have a Page View contest every 5000 page views! (5,000, 10,000 etc.) Anyone who captures it and submit it to Feature-Club will receive a:
- Next day accepted submission to Feature-Club
- Feature in a blog
- For every 50,000 PV (Next one at 50,000!), 20 Points from TimberClipse
Weekly News
In addition TimberClipse runs a weekly Contest News Article about contests around dA! Feature-Club will announce this article every week and it is a great way to get awesome prizes! More info can be found right HERE
Who are the admins?
TimberClipse is the founder of the club. He started this group because he enjoys featuring people and has done so with journal features and DD's. He has suggested 65 Daily Deviations by members around deviantART, and received one DD on a deviantArt tutorial! He is also still new to deviantArt and has only been around for a year. He is currently an admin of SkyAndNatureClub and has a life too! 
dantastic202 is the head of the Gallery and therefore is the sole individual who accepts all your amazing artwork! He founded the brand-new DeviantsOfCalifornia group AND donated a 1 year Premium Group Membership to Feature-Club! Not to mention installing and sustaining this awesome CSS! We love him for all of his generosity and help so far! 
uae4u has been with this group since the beginning and knew TimberClipse before as the current owner of SkyAndNatureClub, one of the largest groups on deviantART! He has helped out with odds and ends at Feature-Club and we would like to thank him for all of his work! 
. He also helps promote many Contests via Feature-Club, and we do the same for him!
Member Classes
Admin: There is no waiting for features or blogs. This class is only open for two people.
Public Relations: This class is allowed 2 submissions a month. They help gain affiliations and work with the Admins to look for new chances.
Contributor: Contributors are selected by admins. Please do not apply without us asking for a new one! Once you are promoted, you may submit unlimited blog entries. You may also submit up to 3 pieces a month. You may help out in other ways if wanted.
Member: You may submit once a month for a feature. You may submit any number of blogs with permission. You may promote contests and partake in other ways of featuring others! Note us if you are interested.
Watcher: There are no benefits of being a watcher. We suggest joining as a Member!
